Speaking at the prematch press conference, our head coach Paulo Sousa considered the upcoming match against Al Orouba on Sunday, at Rashid Stadium, as a return to the ADNOC Professional League, stressing the need to focus and be responsible during the match, adding that the game requires the team to be quicker in making decisions.
The coach explained that Al Orouba plays on quick counterattack, and usually loses in single goal difference, as happened against Al Wasl and Al Jazira, calling on the players to be committed and responsible from the beginning of the match to its end, and to be focused and creating chances to score goals and win.
Paulo Sousa sent an important message to the club’s fans, stressing the need for their presence in every match, he said: “This is a request from me and the players to increase the number of supporters, because this gives us the motivation to win. We have achieved ten consecutive victories, and they will enable us to overcome difficulties and continue with a series of positive results.”
Our player Mateus Lima, who accompanied the coach to the press conference, described the upcoming match against Al-Arouba as an important match that requires focus and confidence in what they are doing on the field, against a good team that caused many difficulties for the opponent teams during the league matches.
