Shabab Al Ahli secured a commanding 5-2 win over Hatta in the rescheduled matchweek 13 match of the ADNOC Pro League, held today at Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Stadium. This victory solidifies Shabab Al Ahli’s position in second place with 55 points, while Hatta remain at the bottom of the table with 10 points.
Shabab Al Ahli quickly took the lead with a well-executed attack, finished by Guilherme Da Silva’s header in the 15th minute. The team’s lead doubled when Munas Dabbur scored another header from a corner in the 17th minute.
Hatta’s Ali Eid reduced the deficit with a low shot from inside the penalty area in the 26th minute. Federico Cartabia restored Shabab Al Ahli’s two-goal lead by scoring in the 54th minute. Despite being down to ten men after Mohammed Marzooq received a red card in the 66th minute, Shabab Al Ahli remained dominant. Breno Cascardo added a fourth goal in the 74th minute, and Harib Abdalla Suhail sealed the win with a powerful shot from inside the box in the 81st minute.
