Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Rodolfo Arruebarrena the head coach of Shabab Alahli, confirmed the readiness of his team to face Al Wasl in the quarterfinal of Arabian Gulf Cup on Friday, calling upon his players to fight for the three points.
The coach described the match as difficult between two big teams, pointing out that most of the matches between Shabab Alahli and Al Wasl are tough, since both teams are looking forward to qualifying to the quarterfinal.
He said: “the match will not be easy, we are facing strong opponent, all the players are ready for the match, the national team players will back to training today, we need to meet them and decide who will be in the starting lineup”.
From his side our under 21 team player Eid Khamis, who accompanied the coach in the press conference sent his thanks to the coach, for giving him the chance to train and play with the first team.
He expressed his happiness to be with the big players, stating that this can help him to gain more experience. “my first match was against Khorfakan, I hope to play more matches and help my team to win” he said.
