Mahdi explained that it is the last match for his team in this competition, and he will do his best to select the starting 11 that can help the team to perform well, pointing out that Harib Abdellah is suspended and the duo Hamdan Alakamali and Salmin Khamis will not be available due to injury.
Mahdi Ali said: “we faced some difficulties before participating in the AFC Champions league, some injuries and absences and our players are tired after playing about 8 matches each month, in some matches we have bad luck we lost in last minutes despite our good performance”ss.
About the importance of the next match he said: “we can’t say the match meant nothing for us, yes we have no hope, but at last we are big name and well known team, and we represent our country UAE, so we have to play well fight for winning, will select the most ready 11 players to show our best.
On the other side our player Ahmed Alattas stated: “the match will not be easy against the group leader Al Hilal, it is the last match for us, we lost some matches by bad luck, and we are looking forward to give our best tomorrow”.
