According to the AFC Champions League draw that took place today in Kuala Lumpur, Shabab Alahli will be in group B alongside with Al-Hilal Saudi, Uzbekistan’s Pakhtakor and the qualifier of match 3 in the preliminary round of the competition.
The fourth team in the group will be determined through three match, in the first match is on January 14 between Chennai city FC from India and Riffa of Bahrain, the winner will qualify to face the Iranian team Shahr Khodor on January 21, and in the 3rd stage of the preliminary the winning team will meet the Qatari Al-Sailiya on January 28 and the winner will joins sB group.
Shabab Alahli will play first match outside its bases against Uzbekistan’s Pakhtakor on February 10, then will host Al-Hilal in Rashid Stadium on February 17, the third and fourth matches will be against the match 3 in the preliminary round on March 3 away, April 6 home, Uzbek Pakhtakor will come to Rashid Stadium on 21 April, before concluding the group stage against the Saudi Al-Hilal in Riyadh.
