Shabab Al Ahli came from a 2-3 down to draw 3-3 against Al Wahda at Al Nahyan stadium in matchweek 17 of the ADNOC Pro League on Friday.

The draw means that Shabab Al Ahli sit third with 34 points, while Al Wahda are fourth with 31 points.

Igor Jesus broke the deadlock after 27 minutes after he ran onto a superb upfield pass from Yuri Cesar to break the offside trap as Jesua made no mistake and drilled the ball into the back of the net.

Jesus grabbed his brace and cemented the Dubai-based side’s lead with a clinical finish from a close range in the 50th minute.

Lucas Pimenta reduced the deficit for Al Wahda six minutes after the hour-mark when he climbed above Shabab Al Ahli’s defense to head in Allan Marques’ cross.

Ismaeil Matar turned the game on its head and hit the equlaizer for Al Wahda with a brilliant sublime strike from outside the box.

The drama continued when Omar Khribin poked the rebound in to give the advantage for Al Wahda in the 91st minute.

Shabab Al Ahli refused to give up and they got what they wanted when Munas Dabbur scored at the death to secure a point for his side.
