Speaking at the prematch press conference our head coach Paulo Sousa, said that the team looking forward to continuing its good performance and when facing Nasaf of Uzbekistan, in the last matchweek of the group stage in AFC Champions League, on Wednesday, at Rashid Stadium.
The coach said: “Nasaf of Uzbekistan is a good team that deserves respect, and it is one of the most committed teams on the pitch and is characterized by changing plans and high pace of performance. The match is important for us, and we will continue in it on the same level of performance”.
Our player, Mateus Lima, who accompanied the coach at the press conference, announced that all his teammates are fully prepared for the match, stressing that everyone is keen to give their best. He said: “We have prepared well for this important match, we realize that the match will not be easy, although we have secured qualification, but we must give everything we have in order to achieve a result that make our fans happy”.
