Gerard Zaragosa Shabab Alahli head coach held the prematch press conference heading to matchweek 3 of the Arabian Gulf League against Alwahda on Friday at Alnahyan Stadium accompanied by Waleed Hussein
Zaragosa explained that it is the second game against another big team in the league, stating that these types of matches are of high importance and interesting for the players and supporters to enjoy.
He admitted that playing against opponent like Alwahda away is difficult, but he added that his team is ready and will fight for the points.
The coach announced that he was satisfied with the performance of Igor Jesus, “He is 19 years old arrived recently and joined the team late, he played two matches showing great performance, am sure now the team has good striker who can help the club for many years” said Zaragosa.
About Carlos Eduardo the coach said: “Eduardo is doing well with the team, he is new in the club, the country and the league, he was one of our best players in the two previous matches, he was the player who ran more in the first game, he gave his best on the pitch”.
Commenting on the injured players Zaragosa stated: “we are confident some of the injured players will return to the team soon, we can improve more with their return, regarding Ahmed Khalil he is not playing due to injury, the medical team is working with him and we hope he will recover soon and join the team”.
From his side Waleed Hussein who accompanied the coach in the press conference said: “the match will not be easy for the both teams, from our side we are ready for the game, Alwahda is well organized and strong team, facing Alain and Alwahda in the first three rounds is big challenge which motivating us to do our best”.
