Shabab Alahli head coach Rodolfo Arruebarrena held the prematch press conference heading to the matchweek 4 of the Arabian Gulf Cup on Saturday against Al Dhafra at Rashid Stadium.
Rodolfo explained that his team is returning to compete in the Arabian Gulf Cup, against a strong side and in the absence of many key players, in addition to the suspension of the two young players Abdul Aziz Al Kaabi and Mohammed Juma.
The coach stressed the need to respect the opponent, noting that the technical staff was keen to prepare the players for the game, which is important and must be won.
Arruebarrena revealed that all the players are ready for the next game, except the injured players as Majid Hassan and Walid Hussein in addition to Manea Mohammed and Mohammed Sabil, who are still recovering from the injury.
He said: “We are keen to strive for winning in every match, we continue to work hard to collect more points.”
He added” “The importance of this game is to give more playing time to the young players and tose who are not participating regulart, I hope they will all benefit from these opportunities and prove themselves.”
Shabab Alahli player Marwan Fahd, who accompanied the coach at the press conference, said: “Shabab Alahli is a big team that can compete on all levels. I thank the coach for the confidence he has given me. I will be keen to give everything I have and try to prove myself.
