Shabab Alahli head coach Rodolfo Arruaberena stressed on the importance of the match against Aljazira in the 3rd matchweek of the Arabian Gulf League, at Mohamed Bin Zayed Stadium 6:30 pm on Thursday 3rd of October.
The coach started the prematch press conference by emphasizing the difficulty of the match, pointing out that Aljazira is one of the strongest teams in the league, which always compete for the titles, adding that they strengthen their squad by signing good and experienced players.
Rodolfo confirmed that his team is ready for the match, stating that the technical staff has been working hard to prepare the team for the game, to win and collect the three points.
The coach disclosed that Abdelaziz Sanqour returned to training with the team, Mohamed Sabeel and Manea are still recovering from injury, while Magid Hassan underwent a successful knee surgery, he considered the absence of Majid as a great loss for Shabab Alahli and the national team as well.
Speaking about the rising star Mohamed Gomaa, Rodolfo said: “Gomaa took the chance and proofed himself, but for sure he has to work hard to improve his performance, with players like Ahmed Khalil and Ismail Al Hammadi Juma needs more effort to maintain his position”.
Luenoardo de Souza who accompanied the coach in the press conference, described the game as difficult for both teams, he said: “our team is in good form, we have confidence, and will fight to come back with full mark.”
