Speaking at the prematch press conference, our head coach Paulo Sousa, stressed the importance of Al Nasr match in the first leg of the quarterfinals of the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup, indicating that the match comes in the knockout stages of the competition and requires more focus.
He said: “We work with all players to develop them and also keep team’s identity, possession and create more chances to score goals, Al Nasr is a good team that deserves respect, and is led by a coach with great experience, we need to be more serious and fight for the winning”.
Our player Breno Cascardo described the match against Al-Nasr as important, expecting a tough game between two big teams, indicating that they, as players, seek to show the team’s identity, and give their best and continue to achieve good results to make fans happy.
Breno expressed his happiness with having more playing time, noting that the success achieved came thanks to teamwork and the technical staff’s keenness to prepare the players and work continuously to develop them.
